ECC is planning a 3 month digital and social media campaign which aims to reinforce the benefits and positives of working in the care sector

The plan is to have a series of short bursts of activity to get messages out to our residents from November 2017 through to January 2018 – culminating in a colour supplement newspaper article which will be published in January 2018 (further information to follow shortly). The key messages will challenge perceptions about working in the care sector and this will be primarily achieved across digital channels to reach our target audience.

The campaign will raise awareness on the vast array of local job and career opportunities available within adult social care. Local residents will be signposted to the Gift of Care webpage (which is currently being updated) with helpful tips and information on jobs/careers in care.

There is an opportunity to signpost visitors who visit the Gift of Care webpage to the jobs/vacancy page on your own website via a dedicated URL/link.

Therefore, if you have a current recruitment need and would like a link/URL to appear within the Gift of Care webpage, signposting the user to your job/vacancy page, please note the following:

  • Email (to confirm you would like to participate and note the below instructions)
  • Submit a short description (max. 40 words) on the types of jobs/roles that you are recruiting to which will appear as a short description underneath the name of your organisastion. For e.g. “Goldstar Care provides excellent care to people in their own homes, and we are currently recruiting care workers, support workers and activity coordinators’.
