  • Skills for Care have launched a FREE new on line Digital Learning Module and you can claim £100 from the WDF fund for completion

    Skills for Care have launched a Learning from Events on line learning scheme.     Through the module you will be able to:

    • Discover what learning reviews are, why they’re needed and how they can help you
    • Learn how managers can move from completing reviews at an individual level to involving the wider team
    • Find practical tips for embedding learning reviews into your working environment

    As part of this offer, employers can claim £100 reimbursement for every staff member who completes this module through the Workforce Development Fund as a contribution to the time spent doing the learning and embedding it.

  • Essex Apprenticeship Levy Transfer Service website launched

    Essex County Council is striving to increase apprenticeships within the county.  The council’s new Essex Apprenticeship Levy Transfer Service will allow levy payers to utilise unspent levy to support the apprenticeship training costs for smaller businesses. This is an online service that allows companies looking to donate unspent apprenticeship levy funds (maximum of 25%), to view details of opportunities created by smaller organisations looking for funding.  The online system makes the process easy and there is also a dedicated team to support businesses during this process.
