  • Live at Home Framework – Retender Concerns - Letter to ECC

    ECA Members have told us that they are concerned about the timing of the retender of the Live at Home Framework, which will take place at a time when the workforce is weary after the first wave of Covid and preparing for a second wave on top of any ‘Winter Pressures’. We have raised your concerns with ECC and here is the letter we sent to Moira McGrath, Director of Commissioning. We have also shared the letter with Cllr.John Spence,  Cabinet Member for Health and Social Care, and with Nick Presmeg, Director of Adult Social Care.

  • Infection Control Fund – Guidance for Providers – June 2020

     

    The Infection Control Fund is the latest Government Funding to help our sector mange the impact of Covid-19. £600m has been made available nationally and it will be paid via Local Authorities. This fund is in addition to the £3.2 bn that the Government has previously made available to Local Authorities. Essex will receive £16m in total
